Weekly phone conversation for isolated seniors 60+

BEFORE YOU SIGN UP:

  • Senior will need to be able to answer the phone on that scheduled day/time. Conversations are typically around 30 minutes.

  • Senior benefit from our program when they agree to and can understand that they will be having weekly phone conversations with their matched volunteer.

  • HIPAA compliant. All calls documented. All volunteers screened, trained, and supervised.

  • Phone program only. Volunteers do not connect with seniors via email, Zoom, Facetime, social media, or in person.

  • All responses to this form are confidential. We NEVER share this information outside of our organization.

AFTER YOU SIGN UP:

  • Within a few days of signup, the senior will receive a call from Alice. She'll get to know them, answer any questions they may have, and let them know when to expect the first call from their phone buddy.

  • Please tell the senior that Alice will be calling from 814-765-2696. Please be sure the senior's phone is on, the volume is turned up, and the voicemail (if any) is available.

  • You'll also receive an email from apollock@matureresources.life confirming that we've reached your senior. Please note her address so it doesn't go to your spam folder
