Volunteer

Many people and organizations contribute to the success of the Clearfield County Senior Games. These people include college and high school students, teachers, local business people and staff of the Clearfield County Office of Aging. Many local businesses also contribute to the game’s success by donating time, people, in kind services, and funds.

Approximately 100 volunteers are needed to make the games successful. Volunteers help in many ways from coordinating and running events as timers, scorekeepers and medal writers as well as non event tasks such as helping at the information table, equipment room, lunch room etc. No experience is necessary. Volunteer for a day or an event. Events are scheduled throughout the day.

In addition to the volunteers, local businesses and schools work with the Senior Games Committee to provide goods and services that make the games possible. This comes in many forms from reduced cost of supplies and equipment, use of facilities, and material donations. Opportunities include:

  • Event site

  • Equipment room

  • Information table

  • Lunch room duties

  • Opening Ceremonies

  • Registration

  • Shuttle Buses

  • Signs

  • Water areas

For more information on volunteering at the games contact Morgan Duke, 814-765-5521 or Dennis Biancuzzo, 814-765-2696 ext. 320
